Lately all I can think about is how my brain is but a giant computer.
Equipped to handle all that I feed into it: my experiences, books, movies, songs, and flashcards.
Preparing for a career by overloading my hard drive with all possible permutations of what could be seen.
These symptoms correlate with X disease. These random facts should be associated with Y bacteria. These side effects should be watched out for with Z drug.
But by filling up my hard drive with all of these possibilities, it leaves my mind too abuzz with information to appreciate the simplicity. To breathe in the beauty of stillness.
For when we are continually reaching for knowledge, we forget that there are also other ways to learn and other ways to think.
